Alfred GIRAUD, a 100% independent and family-owned House, is based on the history, heritage and know-how of the GIRAUD family in the field of aging and blending.
VOYAGE, the very first whisky in the Exploration range, has a bold aromatic profile that is the result of blending two very high quality single malts, one aged in Sauternes casks, the other in French Robinia casks. The Sauternes casks give it notes of custard, sweet grapes and acacia honey. Robinia, a powerful wood with an art to it, is rarely used in whisky production and gives it notes of white flowers.
