Terms and Conditions of Use


The customer declares to have read the following provisions before placing any order. By choosing to buy products online, he accepts the terms set out below.

No goods will be shipped before full payment of the order. The goods remain the property of Cognac & Spirits until full payment, according to the law n ° 80335 of May 12th, 1980.

Cognac & Spirits reserves the right to cancel any order if payment has not been received within seven business days.


The order is considered valid from the last page of order validation of the site, once the box "I have read the terms and conditions of sale and I adhere to it without reservation3 is checked, and the click on the "Order" button performed. This last click is assimilated to the handwritten signature referred to in Article 1341 of the French Code of Commerce.

From this validation, the order is considered irrevocable and can not be questioned.

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you as soon as the order is placed. This e-mail is to keep, and will be your proof of order.

All deliverable goods remain our property wherever they are, including stores, warehouse, personal accommodation, until full payment of invoices due.

From the delivery of the goods takes place the transfer of risks of goods from the merchant to the buyer. It is the recipient's responsibility to check the parcel in the presence of the deliveryman and make any reservations on the spot in case of problems.


All products listed on our site are deemed available.

Otherwise, we will contact you by email or phone as soon as possible to inform you and agree with you:
• to postpone the delivery while waiting for the replenishment of this product, when possible,
• replacement of the product with another equivalent in quality and price,
• the cancellation of your order and the refund of the price possibly paid.


Considering the rare or speculative nature of certain products, restrictions on the quantities available can be applied.

Photos and other images representing the products are not contractual. They are subject to change without notice.


The Customer has a period of seven days from the receipt of the product to retract. The direct costs of returning the goods are at his expense.

The product must also be returned to Cognac & Spirits in its original packaging. The bottles must not have been opened and the seals, seals and slivers and all other elements guaranteeing the authenticity and inviolability of the product must be intact.

In case of dispute, the Court of Angouleme is only competent.

Recoveries by litigation will give rise to a fixed compensation amounting to 15% of the amount of the order, without prejudice to the interests of delay and damages.

Any sum not paid at the due date gives rise to the application as of right and without notice to the payment of interest of delay at the rate of the legal interest plus 50%.

Similarly, the seller's liability can not be incurred in the event that the sold products are stored or consumed in abnormal conditions or incompatible with their nature.

In the event of non-payment by the customer on the agreed due date and forty-eight hours after an unsuccessful formal notice, the sale may be terminated ipso jure by Cognac & Spirits. This, with the possibility of requesting, in summary, the return of our products, without prejudice to any other damages.
